How many units are in the villa and how many guests can you accommodate?

We have 2 units: Tranquilitea Villa (1st floor) accommodating 9 people, Infinitea Villa (ground floor) accommodating 3 people.

Larger groups can book both units - Mistea Villa (combined) accommodating 13 people.

(Note: We do not count infants - under 3 years old).

Do you offer meals or have a cook?

Our stay does not include meals and we do not have a cook. However, we have a caretaker who can assist you with tea/coffee and bread/maggi. We have partnered with a local restaurant for breakfast and a home caterer for lunch and dinner (on order). Additionally, you can explore nearby restaurants using Zomato or request a curated list from us.

You can place your breakfast order with our caretaker the previous night. We will share the number of the home caterer with you. You can directly enquire regarding lunch and dinner from them.

What amenities are part of the house?

We have a fully equipped kitchen, a beautiful garden, adorable cats for playful companionship. We can also give you directions to a nature walk through the enchanting forest just 5 minutes away from the villa from where you can enjoy a majestic sunset.

Our upstairs unit also has a bathtub and a recreational room with board games for adults and kids and a library which you can use.

Can you help with transportation?

While we do not directly provide transport services, we can provide you with the contacts of reliable cab services to assist you with your transportation needs.

Is it a safe part of town?

Coonoor is generally a very safe city, we are located in a gated community with 24x7 security along with cctv cameras. Rest assured, you can rest safe with us.

Yes, just two:

1. Please me mindful that this is a home not a hotel therefore we expect our guests to leave the house how they found it.

2. Very important: We have a strict noise policy. This is an extremely quiet locality & we respect our neighbours. No loud music/ shouting/ partying is allowed. Particularly after 9 PM.

If you do want to play music etc it must be done in a manner that doesn’t disturb anyone else. As we usually have guests in both units, we request that you do not disturb our other guests and respect their peace and quiet.

Are there any house rules?

Is the place good for work-cations?

Yes, we have a dedicated workspace and we offer complimentary High-speed Wi-Fi access to all our guests, ensuring you stay connected and have internet access throughout your stay.

Do you offer a BBQ/ Bonfire option?

Unfortunately, we do not.

What nearby attractions or activities can I explore?

Coonoor offers a multitude of attractions and activities. Delight in visiting Sim's Park, Dolphin's Nose, Highfield Tea Factory, and the Nilgiri Mountain Railway. Immerse yourself in trekking trails, tea gardens, and the mesmerizing beauty of the surroundings, perfect for nature enthusiasts.

What is your cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy is as follows:

Cancellations made within 7 days of the check-in date will not be eligible for a refund.

Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to the check-in date will receive a full refund.

Are there common areas that both units share?

The living areas in both units are completely separate and they have separate entrances. The garden at the back of the villa and the car park are the only common spaces, everything else is completely private.

What are the checkin-checkout timings ?

Check In : 2pm

Check Out : 12pm noon

We may be able to accomomate early check-in or late checkout subject to availability.

How far away is it from the city?

We are located on the scenic Coonoor-Kotagiri highway, just a 10-minute drive from Sims Park in Upper Coonoor.

How far is it from Ooty?

Our villa is approximately 45 minutes away from the captivating hill station of Ooty, offering you the opportunity to explore both Coonoor and Ooty during your stay.

On weekdays there is no minimmum stay period.
On weekends we have a minimum of two days.

Is there a minimum stay period?

Are there shops nearby to purchase groceries?

Yes, there are shops within a 5-minute distance. Prior to your arrival, you can inform us of your grocery requirements, and we will have them delivered to the villa before your arrival.

We are ideally located on the outskirts of the city ensuring that you can enjoy attractions of the city while relaxing in the secluded lap of nature surrounded by the breathtaking views of the mountain and the tea gardens.

What makes this villa unique?

Is parking available?

Yes, we offer ample parking space within the premises for our guests, ensuring the safety and convenience of your vehicles.

Do you have good network connectivity?

Yes we have good network connectivity, all major networks like Airtel, Jio, BSNL etc get 4G here.

Can I bring my pet?

Unfortunately, as we do not allow pets on the premises. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
